It is with heavy Hearts that we announce the passing of Steven Kurt Findlay, who passed away on August 20th, 2026, at the age of 57.

Steven will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by his mother, Florence Derksen(Peter), and his sisters, Cindy(Terry), Susan(Darryl), his Brother, Norm(Diane), Nieces, Nephews, Extended family and everyone who had the privilege of knowing him.

Steven had a love for NASCAR and fishing, two things that brought him many hours of enjoyment; they could be watching the excitement of a race or spending time out fishing with his brother and dad. These were the simple pleasures that made him happy.

Steven was a cherished son, brother and friend; his passing leaves an emptiness that cannot be filled, but also many memories that will remain close to the hearts of those who loved him.

He was pre-deceased by his father, Norm, in 2008.

Although Steven is no longer with us, he will continue to live in our memories, in the stories we share, the moments we remember, and the love we carry for him in our hearts.

Rest peacefully, Steven. You will be deeply missed forever, loved and never forgotten.
