Kevin Leonard Sinclair
Kevin Leonard Sinclair
October 9, 1978 – June 9, 2026
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Kevin Sinclair, who passed away on June 9, 2026, at the age of 47. Kevin was born on October 9, 1978, and was a lifelong resident of West Kildonan, Winnipeg, Manitoba, where he was raised, attended school, and built lasting friendships throughout his life.
Kevin will be remembered for his kind heart, dependable nature, and willingness to help anyone in need. He was a quiet, caring man with a warm sense of humour who found joy in the simple things in life and always put family first.
Throughout his working years, Kevin took great pride in honest, hands-on work. He spent 11 years planting trees in northern British Columbia, worked for several years on a barge operating from Pine Dock across Lake Winnipeg, hauling cargo to northern communities, and later worked maintaining the Jewish cemetery at Armstrong and Main in Winnipeg. He was respected for his strong work ethic and reliability.
Kevin was also well known throughout the West Kildonan area for providing yard care services to neighbours, relatives, and friends. Whether mowing lawns, clearing snow, or helping with seasonal work, he was always willing to lend a helping hand.
Outside of work, Kevin enjoyed baking, especially cookies, banana bread, and cakes. He loved trying new recipes and sharing his baking with family and friends. He also found peace in gardening and took great pride in planting flowers and caring for the family yard alongside his mother.
Kevin shared a special bond with his beloved dog, Rexi, who was his constant companion. The two were rarely apart, and Rexi brought Kevin much comfort and happiness throughout the years.
Following the passing of his mother, Kevin faced many challenges with quiet strength and resilience. Through it all, he remained close to his sister Pam and her children, whose love and support meant so much to him.
Kevin will be lovingly remembered for his kindness, generosity, dedication to family, and the many small ways he made life better for those around him. His gentle spirit, caring nature, and unwavering willingness to help others will remain in the hearts of everyone who knew him.
He will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
