Beverly Frances Pomrenke
October 20, 1949 - May 12, 2026

We are immensely saddened to announce the passing of our loving wife, mother and grandmother, Beverly Frances Pomrenke (Bregg) of Winnipeg, MB, on May 12, 2026.  She was predeceased by her parents, Mel and Doris, younger brother, Gary and older sister, Vivian.

Beverly leaves to mourn her passing, her husband of 53 years, Gilbert Pomrenke – Winnipeg and her two daughters, Leanne (Darcy) Power – Winnipeg and Angela (Matthew) Litchie – Oakbank.  She is also survived by her three grandsons, Darce and Kayden Power and Benjamin Litchie.

Mom was born in Lestock, SK, grew up in Moose Jaw, SK, and eventually moved to Winnipeg, MB.  It was here that she met and married the love of her life, Gilbert.

Once her daughters were old enough, Mom re-entered the workforce, working at the Faneuil Group, a customer service company, as well as at Revenue Canada and the Agriculture Department of the Government of Canada.

Mom's greatest joys were when her daughters got married and she became a grandma three times.

She enjoyed knitting for the Christmas Cheer Board and carried on this thoughtful tradition for many years.  She also loved gardening, even though at the end of the summer, she had more cucumbers and tomatoes than she knew what to do with!!

After retirement, Mom and Dad spent time enjoying vacations and travelling.  They took part in bus tours going to Branson, Missouri and escaped the cold Winnipeg winters with getaways to Mexico, Jamaica and Hawaii.

Our family would like to thank the wonderful staff at Concordia Hospital, home care, Grace Hospital and Heritage Lodge for all the care they gave to Mom over the past few months.

As per Mom's wishes, cremation has taken place, and a private internment will be held at a later date.
