It is with deep sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Neil Vincent Bouchey, who passed away on March 3, 2026, at the age of 62.
Neil will be lovingly remembered by his children, Steve, Kayla (Barry), Felicia (Kerry), Daniell (Jessie), Justin (Lexi), Skylar (Devon), and Dominique (Daniel). He also leaves behind 15 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren, all of whom he loved dearly.
He will also be remembered by his siblings, Barbara (Benard), Paul (Velma), Patrick (Lydia), Theresa (Garnet), Conrad (Flora), and Theo, along with numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Neil was predeceased by his parents, Virginia Bushie and Ambrose Bushie; his brothers, Harold Lavadier, Lloyd Bouchey, and Myles Bushie; his sisters, Caroline Moneyas, Merrilee Bushie-Rosic, and Kathy Bushie; and his beloved grandson, Derian Bird.
A Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, March 11, 2026, at 1:00 p.m. at Sacred Heart Roman Catholic Church, Hollow Water First Nation, Hollow Water, Manitoba. Father Messiah Vallapadasu will officiate. Interment will follow at the Parish Cemetery. The Wake will be held on Sunday, March 8, 2026, from 6 pm to 9 pm at Kildonan Community Church, 2373 Main Street, Winnipeg, Manitoba.
Pallbearers are: Aden Bouchey, Malcolm Moneas, Brooks Chartrand, Ambrose Kennedy, Jessie McKenzie, Denielle Bushie Jr., Adam Bushie, Oliver Bushie and the Honourary Pallbearers are: Denielle Bushie Sr., Tim Moneyas, Ashley Moneyas, Vincent Bushie, Jason Bushie, Jamie Lavadier, Kerry Lavadier and Theo McKinnon. The Drummers are: Wyatt Chartrand, Anton Bird, Devlin Morriseau, and Palmi Moneas Jr.,
Neil will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by all whose lives he touched.
