September 13, 1950 - October 11, 2026
Ema Lenio (née Frumen), 76, of Winnipeg, Manitoba, peacefully entered the presence of her Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ, on Sunday morning, October 11, 2026, surrounded by the love of her husband and family in her final days.
Ema is lovingly remembered by her husband, Thomas; sons Jonas and Eli; her daughter-in-love, Tricia (Eli’s wife); grandchildren Tasha, Maximilian, Milo, Theodore, and Isaiah; sister Helen Floresco; brother Joe Frumen; sisters-in-law Janis Slack and Linda Thompson and many nieces, nephews, and dear friends.
Ema found her calling working with children with special needs at Gordon Bell High School until her retirement. In 1969, she married her husband, Tom, and together they raised their family in Winnipeg.
Ema will be remembered for her gentle spirit, kindness, generosity, loving heart, and unwavering devotion to Jesus Christ. A steadfast and faithful servant of the Lord, she lived her life sharing God’s love, openly speaking of her faith, and encouraging others to know Jesus as their Lord and Saviour.
Our prayer is that even in her passing, Ema’s testimony will continue to touch hearts and lead others to the saving grace and everlasting hope found in Jesus Christ.
