It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Alexander James Favel on August 22, 2025 at the age of 76.

Alex leaves to mourn his daughters Sheila Favel, Carmel Crowchild, Sheri-lyn Bear Chief (Favel), Rosanne Favel-Nippi (Terence), Jessica Favel and Melanie Favel; his Grandson, whom he raised as his own son, Bronson Alexander; his special granddaughter, Keisha Thompson; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren; Sisters Beverly Smith, Lydia Bushie (Patrick) and Florence Favel; stepsisters Lillian Bushie (Alan), Janet Seymour and Nancy Clark; numerous nieces and nephews and friends.

He was predeceased by his wife, Mabel Favel (nee Peebles); parents Alice and Alfred Favel; his twin sister Matilda Favel; stepsisters Edith Couchene, Flora Williams; brothers Alfred Favel, George Favel and stepbrothers Clarence Peebles and Bob Peebles.

A one-night wake service will be held on Thursday, August 28, 2025, from 6 PM - 9 PM and the
Funeral will be on Friday, August 29, 2025, at 1 PM, both at Kildonan Community Church, 2373 Main
St, Winnipeg, MB.

The family would like to thank the staff on the fifth floor of Seven Oaks Hospital.

Reception to follow.

In keeping with Alex's wishes, cremation will take place.

A celebration of life will take place at a later date.
